Mandela Day got all the Zoe volunteers busy as bees.
Making sandwiches to distribute to all the moms waiting early in queues at the MOUs (Retreat,Mitchells Plain and Hanover Park).
Getting together to sew angel blankets for the babies born sleeping at Mowbray.
Taking delicious donuts to the Kangaroo Care Moms to brighten up their day.
Volunteers working at the pediatric Nursery caring for the babies. Nursing and showing unconditional love for sick babies.
And many more are behind the scenes counselling women and supporting mothers in labour (pictures we cannot take to protect the dignity of the clients ).
